• These beautiful ceramic bowls have been handcrafted in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, one of India’s oldest hubs for glazed pottery and more commonly known as “the ceramic town”
• The roots of this craft date as far back as the early 14th century when the Mughals are known to have brought this glorious artform to India
• Modern production of ceramics, however, is believed to have blossomed in the 1940s and the art has since evolved vastly in terms of craftsmanship & is renowned today for its array of soothing colors, distinctive floral patterns & a range of product possibilities
