- Biskut is a gorgeous speckled mug that has been handcrafted using natural clay & other sustainable materials sourced from neighbouring villages around Puducherry and fired at very high temperatures
- Calming & rather easy on the eyes, we love the beautiful speckles on this one!
- Aside from its calm vibe, what we also adore about Biskut is that its size makes it a very universal mug, if you will. Everything goes well; brewed coffee, tea, cappuccino, latte, you name it!
• This lovely mug has been handcrafted in Puducherry, lovingly known as Pondy, a sleepy little coastal French town based in southern India
• In the year 1970, (legends in their own right) Deborah Smith & Ray Meeker travelled to Pondy and soon after established Golden bridge pottery in 1971, which in many ways put India on the ceramics world map & inspired a generation of artists
• In fact, most, if not all, potters from Pondy are alumni of Golden bridge pottery! So thank you, Deborah & Ray for bringing about a storm in the Indian ceramics & pottery industry!
